Major features of the second semester each year are the Kindergarten Transition and Orientation to School programs and the Year 2 to 3 Transition program with Narrandera Public School.
The Kindergarten programs are designed to help familiarize both parents and students with their new school environment to ensure a happy, confident start to school the following year. The opportunity also enables new students and parents to develop positive relationships with members of the school community. The Kindergarten Transition program is held every Thursday in Term 3 followed by an Orientation Day in Term 4.
The Year 2 to 3 Transition program with Narrandera Public School involves both formal and informal interactions throughout second semester and includes a parent information evening in Term 4.
Great emphasis is placed on providing quality Transition programs each year because the school is involved in both Kindergarten and Year 2 Transition.
